Piller Candle Care Instructions
- Before your first burn, place your KaousKrafts Pillar Candle on a heat- and flame-resistant plate or in a container specifically designed for pillar candles.
- Always keep candles away from children, pets, flammable materials, and drafts.
- Do not burn pillar candles in hurricane candle holders, as beeswax burns at a higher temperature than many other waxes. The extra heat trapped by hurricane holders can cause the glass to crack and may cause your candle to burn faster than intended.
- For the best performance, trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use.
- Allow the candle to burn for at least 4 hours each time you light it, or until the melted wax reaches the outer edge of the candle. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even, long-lasting burn.
- As your pillar candle burns down, gently fold the softened outer edges into the melted wax pool to encourage an even burn.
- If you notice a carbon buildup on the wick (often called "mushrooming"), extinguish the flame, allow the candle to cool slightly, trim the wick back to ¼ inch, and relight.

Wax Melt Care & Safety
- Always place your wax warmer on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Never leave a wax warmer unattended while in use.
- Melt wax for no more than 3–4 hours at a time.
- Keep your wax warmer away from children, pets, drafts, and anything flammable.
- To remove used wax, allow it to cool slightly, then absorb the melted wax with a cotton ball or paper towel. Dispose of the wax in the trash—never pour wax down the drain.
- Each KaousKrafts wax melt typically provides 8–12 hours of fragrance, depending on the warmer and usage.
- Unlike candles, wax melts do not evaporate. Once the fragrance has faded, remove the old wax before adding a fresh melt.
- For the strongest scent experience, rotate between different fragrances. Using the same scent continuously can cause you to become "nose blind," making it harder to notice the fragrance over time.
